Remember when Karen Bass claimed that because of the $1 billion city deficit, she'd have to cut police department? Now Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has billed L.A. City Attorney Hydee Feldstein-Soto $1.8 million for JUST its first 13 days of work on single homelessness case through May 30 — twice the entire two-year contract amount. Guess who gets to pay? (Hint: not Hydee!)
