The head of LA DWP failed to repair and fill the Pacific Palisades reservoir in time to save the town. Now, she’s being rewarded with treatment fit for a queen:
A friend of the Flyer, Palisades fire whistleblower Spencer Pratt, posted all the receipts on X:
“LADWP couldn’t pay the 140k tear on Santa Ynez reservoir or fix afford to pay to fill up the Palisades reservoir but…. On November 12, 2025, the LADWP amended its security agreement for Janisse Quiñones, bumping the cost of her private security up $190,000 to a grand total of $452,000. This amendment extends the current security contract by 12 months, and provides Quiñones with 1 highly trained security agent AND 1 professional driver for travel, events and daily activities. That’s on top of the $750,000 annual salary that Quiñones receives. Your LADWP dollars hard at work!”
