This poor kid!
A man in Highland Park tried to steal a car, but ran off, leaving his own toddler and dog at the scene.
But here’s the really sad part: “Workers with the Department of Children and Family Services took custody of the child, who has yet to be identified. According to authorities, efforts to identify the child have been unsuccessful, and no custodial parent or family member has contacted the police to locate him.”
Next time you feel like you’re blowing it as a parent, just think of this guy. Poor kid!
