The Cal State university system is trying to give raises to campus presidents while cutting budgets in other areas. Average base pay for campus presidents is $453,000.
They are seeking to give increases of up to 15% in annual incentive-based raises. Meanwhile, the rest of us are lucky to get a 1-2% raise each year. It sure pays to be a California government employee!
